Insight Monitor is designed to monitor in-flight telemetry on the device, record sessions to CSV, and send flight data to a server-side layer for token-based remote viewing.
The current product does not require account creation or sign-in for basic app usage and token-based public viewing.
The app may process data required to operate the product and publish remote sessions.
We use data to operate the product, display telemetry on the device, record the session to CSV, publish the session to the backend, and enable remote viewing for anyone holding the corresponding token.
Based on the current implementation, we do not use data for advertising, data sales, commercial profiling, marketing analytics, or third-party crash reporting.
Data may be processed by the technical infrastructure used to deliver the service, including the backend and Firebase services used for sessions, live-state storage, and viewer distribution.
A remotely published session may be viewed by anyone holding the viewer token or the corresponding public URL. These identifiers should be treated as sensitive access information.
CSV file sharing from the app only happens when started manually by the user through the device's native sharing features.
CSV files are stored locally on the device until the user shares or deletes them manually.
Data sent to remote sessions is retained according to the current technical operation of the backend and its live-session cleanup mechanisms.
The app requests Bluetooth permission to find and connect to the telemetry device and location permission to record GPS points together with the session.
If these permissions are not granted, parts of the product may not function correctly or may operate with reduced functionality.
You can control device permissions through your operating system settings and can delete locally stored CSV files from within the app.
